I have been in sunny warm Florida and have been by the ocean with my sister and her husband on Sanibel Island.  Yikes, I feel so grateful and fortunate....Here's some of my watercolors, not so good, but at least I did paint a few.  I just hung the show at the American Cancer Society, Hope Lodge, which is a place for cancer patients and their families to stay while in treatment.  It is close to the U of M campus.  While there, I met some wonderful people and noticed four kitchens with many refrigerators.  I imagine that families cook meals there.  Patricia  Choufrutt organizes the art for a wall close to the kitchen areas.  Thirteen of my paintings went up yesterday and I was pleased with the way they looked.  It amazes me that my style has settled down so, from one painting to the next there is a connection of line and feeling.  So what's next you ask.  Well, First Thursday is this week at Northrup King Building from 5-9pm and we are open in Studio 321 every Saturday from 12 to 4pm.  Art a Whirl and Art on the line is coming up in May.  I'm doing a demo on Saturday May 14 at 11am for art on a line at the State Fair fine arts building.  It will be astill life with other ideas thrown in, lots of color and probably too much line( my nemesis)  hope to see you all soon.
