The weather is perfect and a terrific bunch of painters came out last Wednesday to paint the Light Rail Station at 36th St and Hiawatha Avenue.  It was really fun.  I'll post my not so terrific painting here so you can see.  I plan to send my photos of the group to the Northstar Watercolor Society website as well.  The big news for my heart is that I was accepted into the Great Minnesota State Fair.  The painting, "The Luncheon" is on my front page of this website.  I don't know why it means so much to me, but it took me close to twenty years of trying every year to be accepted and then when it did happen I went to the fair every day that year to soak the energy and happiness in. Then after that I was accepted six times and skipped two years until this year.  I encourage artists to enter because it is your right as a Minnesota citizen and it is free.  Also I think if is by far the best art show in Minnesota.  I'm proud to be there once again.
